Santiam Hospital in Stayton, OR is seeking a Perioperative Registered Nurse / Charge RN to coordinate daily patient flow in Pre-Op and PACU, assign care based on acuity, and mentor staff. The role provides clinical leadership across perioperative services and supports surgical schedules with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in perianesthesia, an active RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS, and CNOR or perioperative certification encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent Perianesthesia (Pre-Op/PACU) experience.
• Active RN license with current BLS, ACLS, & PALS.
• CNOR certification or perioperative certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily patient flow in Pre-Op and PACU.
• Assign and oversee nursing care based on patient acuity and staff competency.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support departments to optimize care and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
