Job summary

Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, Oregon is seeking a PACU Staff RN to perform clerical and direct/indirect nursing duties in collaboration with anesthesia and nursing staff. The role focuses on planning and delivering quality patient care for pre- and post-operative patients in routine and emergency PACU situations.

Requirements include an active RN license in OR/WA, BLS, and ACLS/PALS either current or obtainable within six months. Experience in PACU or critical care is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing in OR/WA required or eligible.
• ACLS and PALS certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• BLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in PACU under anesthesia team.
• Assist in planning and delivering quality post-operative patient care.
• Respond to emergencies in OR as available; support chaotic, high‑demand environments.
