Job summary

Mercy Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at Perrysburg Medical Center. The OR RN will lead perioperative care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and help deliver pre-op, intra-op and post-op nursing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree (ADN/BSN), current RN licensure, and perioperative readiness; BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred. Mercy Health offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support, ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support or PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred at hire; must obtain prior to direct patient care.
• CNOR or SGNA certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR.
• Observe the surgery and assist the team to maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Manage nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinate with other care providers.
