Mercy Health seeks a Registered Nurse for Inpatient Surgery at St. Charles Hospital in Ohio. You will assess patients, plan care, and support the surgical team to ensure a safe, efficient perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care is preferred but not required.
• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN license; BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care including discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
