Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Kings Mills Hospital. You will assess patient status, prioritize needs, and implement perioperative care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases to ensure optimal outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a nursing degree with RN licensure; certifications such as BLS/ACLS/PALS are preferred or obtainable. Join a faith-based, patient-focused team delivering exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS or PALS certification (required or obtainable during hire).
• CNOR certification (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Oversee OR nursing care and coordinate with surgical team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
