Job summary

Mercy Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse with perioperative and/or critical care background to join our operating suite in Kentucky. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, perform assessments, and provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative care to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing patient needs, developing care plans, and coordinating with surgeons and staff.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure required
• Two years RN experience in Critical Care preferred
• CNOR and ACLS/PALS certifications preferred
• Peri-op 101 training is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Manage the nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinate with other care providers
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including discharge instructions
• Observe the surgery and surgical team to maintain a safe environment
