Job summary

Mercy Health in Warren, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to deliver high-quality perioperative care. You will collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op stages.

The role requires a nursing degree (ASN or BSN) with active RN licensure; BLS, ACLS, or PALS certifications are preferred, with department-specific requirements to be met within six months.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Nursing required.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications preferred or required by department; obtain within 6 months as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to plan and deliver patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments in the OR setting.
• Observe and assist the surgical team to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care within the OR and coordinate with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and patient discharge instructions.
