Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital in Florida seeks a Perioperative Manager, IP, to lead 24/7 LMH Surgery perioperative services. The role focuses on patient flow, safety, and regulatory compliance while partnering with physicians to advance care quality.

You will manage budgets, guide improvements, and develop staff through coaching and leadership. A BSN is required, with MSN/DNP or related graduate degree preferred; Florida RN licensure and BLS are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN required; MSN/DNP or a BSN with a graduate degree in business or health administration in 5 years.
• Minimum four (4) years as a registered nurse in a surgical area, with leadership experience.
• Florida RN license or NLC and BLS certification; leadership in perioperative settings highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 24/7 perioperative services in LMH Surgery.
• Collaborate with physicians to improve OR metrics, staff retention, and new technologies.
• Participate in perioperative governance and budget development and management.
• Recruit, coach, supervise, and evaluate team members; ensure safety and compliance.
• Drive quality, patient flow, and service excellence across the unit/department.
