Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking a Nursing Operations Manager for the Med Tele IP unit. This full-time daytime role leads nursing teams, ensures patient flow, safety, and quality care, and partners with leaders to meet clinical and financial goals.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with RN licensure in Florida, 1 year of leadership, and Medi Tele experience; MSN/DNP preferred. This role supports Hospital Care at Home initiatives and requires strong change leadership.

Qualifications

• BSN required with active Florida RN license
• MSN/DNP or higher preferred
• 1 year leadership experience in nursing
• 2 years RN experience in acute care setting
• Current BLS certification
• May require ACLS/PALS/NALS/TNCC depending on patient population
• ANCC/AONL leadership certification within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Evaluates environment to ensure quality service, patient flow, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Plans, leads, and evaluates delivery of patient care to achieve outcomes.
• Promotes a safe environment and high reliability of processes and outcomes.
• Leads in nursing policy formulation and decision-making.
• Implements continuous improvement and change management.
• Develops nursing delivery models aligned with patient/family needs.
