Job summary

Atlas Healthcare Partners, in collaboration with Banner Surgery Center – Tempe, seeks an experienced registered nurse to assess, plan, implement, and document comprehensive nursing care for post-operative patients.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety, timely care, and effective discharge planning. A valid RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PreOp/PACU experience are essential; benefits include strong health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing (or higher).
• Current, valid RN license to practice in state.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if pediatrics.
• Minimum one year RN experience in PreOp/PACU (FT/PT).
• RN with no PreOp/PACU experience but enrolled in Perianesthesia Academy (within 4 months).
• New RN enrolled in Perianesthesia Academy (within 4 months).
• PRN: minimum two years RN experience in PreOp/PACU.
• Preferred: PreOp/PACU licensed RN experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan nursing care.
• Implement and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Document assessments, planning, and patient responses.
• Provide care in accordance with physician orders and standards.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Promote quality and safety in nursing care.
• Relate to and mentor facility staff as needed.
