Job summary

Atlas-Healthcare-Partners-LLC in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Registered Nurse with PreOp/PACU experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher.
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU (i.e. ICU, ED).
• Licensed RN with no experience in PreOp/PACU and enrolled in Perianesthesia Academy with successful completion within 4 months.
• New licensed RN enrolled in the Perianesthesia Academy with successful completion within 4 months.
• PRN: Minimum two years licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and post-operative planning needs.
• Formulates a plan of care, including discharge planning, utilizing assessment data and input from patient/family and health team.
• Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination and supervision of the health care team.
• Evaluates patient progress towards goals and revises the plan of care as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Provides care based on best evidence and participates in professional development and mentoring.
