Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• BLS and ACLS are required.
• PALS certification within 90 days if Pediatrics are served.
• Minimum 1 year of licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU.
• New RN or current trainee must complete Perianesthesia Academy within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care with the health team.
• Document assessments and care plans in patient records.
• Communicate status and updates to physicians and caregivers.
• Contribute to quality indicators and patient outcomes.
