Job summary

Banner Surgery Center – Chandler, managed by Atlas Healthcare Partners, is seeking an experienced RN to assess, plan, implement and document nursing care for surgical patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.

The role requires a current RN license, BLS and ACLS, with preference for PreOp/PACU experience; PALS within 90 days for pediatrics. Expect collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and accurate documentation to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU.
• New licensed RN enrolled in the Perianesthesia Academy with successful completion within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plans nursing care for patient and family.
• Implements and supervises nursing care according to physician orders and care plan.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records.
• Interacts with the health care team to coordinate care and ensure safety and quality.
• Promotes patient outcomes through education and discharge planning.
