Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse for the Operating Room. Under general supervision, you will render professional peri-operative care as scrub or circulating nurse, and assist with post‑anesthesia recovery when assigned.

This role requires strict adherence to sterile technique and patient safety standards. You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia staff, review charts, administer medications, start IVs, and monitor patients through recovery.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Rhode Island to practice nursing.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Up to one year of OR or surgical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during procedures by preparing instruments and maintaining sterile technique.
• Provide peri-operative care as scrub or circulating nurse as assigned.
