Job summary

BJC HealthCare seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse – Operating Room to provide exceptional perioperative care in a collaborative, high-acuity surgical setting. The OR RN will coordinate and deliver safe nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases, including circulating and, as applicable, scrubbing responsibilities.

The role supports surgeons and anesthesia providers, ensures strict adherence to safety and infection-prevention standards, and advocates for patients and families

Qualifications

• Experience in perioperative nursing is required.
• Ability to coordinate care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.
• Familiarity with circulating and scrubbing responsibilities where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care across all phases.
• Coordinate and communicate with surgeons and anesthesia providers.
