Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a perioperative nurse to provide intraoperative care in scrub and circulating roles. The role requires call, weekends, nights and holidays as scheduled, with responsibilities across neonate to geriatric patients.

The nurse will prepare for cases, maintain aseptic technique, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and smooth room turnover.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current or compact state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Operating Room experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and circulates on cases independently, with minimal direction.
• Prepares for surgical cases, anticipating needs of patient, surgeon, anesthesia, and OR staff.
• Maintains aseptic technique and safe patient environment during intraoperative care.
• Participates in room turnover and documentation of surgical activity.
