Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an operating room nurse who will perform both circulating and scrub roles. The position involves typically 12-hour shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage and on-call commitments.

You will deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and effective pain management. The role requires an Associate's degree in nursing, NJ RN license, BLS, and certifications; CN-related credentials may be required

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in nursing or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: None; nursing experience preferred.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider and NJ RN license.
• Requires TNCC/8 hours trauma CNE if assigned to ICU/Trauma units.
• Requires NIH Stroke Scale Certification or 8 hours Stroke CNE if assigned to relevant units.

Responsibilities

• Operating Room Nurse position with circulating and scrub roles.
• Perform 12 hour shifts; includes weekend, holidays and on-call commitments.
• Provide direct patient care using nursing process and discharge planning.
• Ensure patient safety and pain management; coordinate with the health care team.
