Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus' Department of Psychiatry seeks a Part-Time Perinatal IOP Behavioral Health Counselor (LPC/LCSW/LAC) to join the Virtual Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program (PIPER). This position is up to 0.49 FTE and may be standalone or supplemented by outpatient therapy, onsite in Aurora, Colorado.

The clinician will conduct diagnostic evaluations, provide individual and group therapy, document encounters, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Addictions, Psychology, or Related Field.
• Active Colorado License for LPC, LCSW, or LAC.
• 1+ years clinical experience in perinatal mental health clinical work, public health, early childhood and/or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for patients referred to intensive outpatient programs.
• Provide group or individual therapy as needed.
• Document patient encounters timely and in compliance with institutional requirements.
• Maintain communication with referral sources and treatment team.
• Promote a positive working environment and support clinical research activities.
