Job summary

Nemours Fetal Care Center is seeking a Perinatal Access Representative in Delaware to handle NFCC phone lines, coordinate referrals, and manage intake, scheduling and insurance validation. You will work with Fetal Therapy Nurse Coordinators, APPs and physicians to support full-spectrum care within the Nemours system.

Responsibilities include timely scheduling, accurate documentation in EMR, and coordinating telehealth with neonatal specialists as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming phone calls in real time and in a polite manner; use trauma informed strategies.
• Schedules fetal imaging and prenatal consultations with sub-specialties per MFM and NC.
• Documents timely in EMR and maintains PHI appropriately.
• Communicates with families to explain the referral process.
• Obtains maternal records for referrals and coordinates receipts with offices.
