Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming is seeking an experienced RN for Perianesthesia – Hosp. You will prep patients for surgery, start IVs, ensure consent and paperwork, administer preop meds and assist with nerve blocks, then care for patients in PACU phases 1 and 2.

This full-time night-shift role offers 4-10 hour nights, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 pm to 7:30 am, with a 15% night-shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care or perioperative settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, and discharge needs; plan and coordinate care.
• Provide direct patient care per the nursing plan of care and physician orders.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the patient record.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support staff to ensure safe, effective care.
