Banner Health's Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pre and Post Operative Care Unit (PACU) on the night shift. The role involves preop assessments, IV access, anesthesia recovery in phase 1 and 2, documentation, and collaboration with the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

You will work 4 nights per week (9:00pm–7:30am) with a 15% night differential, participate in ongoing education, and contribute to high-quality

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Wyoming or compact state).
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsabilités

• Assess physical, psychological, social and discharge needs and plan care.
• Prepare patients for surgery, start IVs, and manage preop procedures.
• Care for patients in PACU phase 1 and 2 post anesthesia recovery.
• Document care accurately and communicate with the perioperative team.
• Educate patients and families; support smooth transitions of care.
