Job summary

Banner Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY, is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Surgical Unit for a full-time night shift (3-12 hour nights, with weekends and holidays). The role supports a fast-paced surgical floor with private rooms and a focus on quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, BLS certification, and acute care experience. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized nursing care.
• Implement care plans and coordinate with the care team.
• Document care and communicate with physicians and family as needed.
• Provide patient education and discharge planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff when applicable.
