Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8 years of software development and performance testing/engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python for backend development.
• Basic JavaScript for frontend light work.
• SQL and database design, queries, and performance analysis.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing scenarios covering load, stress, spike, endurance/soak, volume, and scalability testing.
• Investigate bottlenecks across application, infrastructure, and databases and identify root causes.
• Support development and quality teams with test data requirements and synthetic data tooling.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize performance scripts, test frameworks, and automation.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for the software delivery lifecycle.
• Incorporate monitoring and observability through logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts.
• Explore AI/ML techniques to improve performance testing and engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to resolve issues.
• Build performance reports and actionable recommendations for optimization.
• Validate and improve scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise apps and cloud-native systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance engineering practices and tooling.
