Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to own enterprise-wide performance engineering as a shared service across a global digital ecosystem.

You will design and run load, stress, and endurance tests using JMeter, k6, or similar tools, and integrate automated validation into Azure DevOps pipelines. Collaborating with SRE and DevOps, you will define reliability targets, conduct chaos experiments, and leverage AI-assisted workflows for planning and triage, while ensuring AI

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in performance engineering or non-functional testing at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, OctoPerf).
• Experience with enterprise observability and cloud monitoring platforms (e.g., Dynatrace).
• Experience integrating automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on engineering in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools and validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise Performance Engineering charter as a horizontal shared service and establish engagement models.
• Design, script, execute, and report performance tests across high-volume ordering, kiosk, POS, loyalty, and payments.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks across application, database, messaging, and infrastructure layers using observability signals.
• Embed automated performance validation into CI/CD pipelines with baseline and threshold gating.
• Partner with SRE/DevOps to define reliability targets and run chaos-engineering experiments.
• Define performance-readiness criteria and provide go/no-go release recommendations.
