Job summary

HealthEdge Software, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in the Performance and Tools team to enhance in-house synthetic data generation tools, investigate enterprise performance issues, and develop scalable test frameworks.

The role emphasizes AI-centric testing and close collaboration with Dev, QA, and DevOps across distributed environments. You will design and run load and resilience tests, optimize performance scripts, and contribute to observability and reporting, helping health plans

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–8 years of experience in Software Development and Performance Testing/PerformanceEngineering.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with SQL and database design principles.
Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries and analyzing database performance.
Experience with AI tools like Claude and Copilot to produce quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Support test data generation requirements for quality and development teams.
Learn and enhance the in-house test data generation tool.
Develop solutions using an AI-centric approach.
Design, develop, and execute performance test scenarios.
Troubleshoot performance issues by analyzing bottlenecks in apps, infrastructure, and databases.
Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to resolve issues.
Incorporate AI/ML techniques into performance testing.
Integrate observability tools in performance analysis.
