SOLV Energy seeks a Performance Engineer II - O&M to oversee daily operations of active solar projects. This role supports data-driven reporting, fleet optimization, and cross-team collaboration across construction and operations.

The position emphasizes safety, data analysis, and continuous improvement of performance metrics using PVsyst, PlantPredict, and SAM, with remote or hybrid work options and in-office presence in San Diego or Bend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, science, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years' experience in PV Performance Engineering or data analytics.
• Experience with PV modeling software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of active solar projects.
• Collaborate with teams to collect data, run reports, and generate analyses.
• On-board new projects into Performance Team platforms.
• Lead coordination of field and engineering teams to optimize fleet performance.
• Troubleshoot performance data and correlate with workorder data for reporting.
• Develop and maintain PV performance reports, commissioning plans, and forecasts.
