Job summary

ecom.jobs is seeking a Creative Strategist to own a pod of AI video editors and turn briefs into high-converting ads across Meta and TikTok. You report to the Head of Performance Creative and you own your pod's output end to end: concept, script, hook, direction, iteration.

We are looking for a hands-on creator with 3+ years in performance creative, capable of shipping volume, briefing editors, and driving CPA/ROAS improvements through AI-driven video.

Qualifications

• Hands-on creative background with copywriting or editing experience.
• 3+ years in performance creative for paid social at DTC/ecommerce brands or DR agencies.
• You have briefed editors, directed creators, and shipped high-volume output.
• You understand creative metrics (hook rate, hold rate, ROAS) and follow-through.
• Experience with AI video tools and knowledge of strengths/limits.

Responsibilities

• Concepts, scripts, hooks, and briefs for editors across Meta and TikTok.
• Direct AI video output: realism, style, pacing, and first-two-second hook.
• Brief-to-live turnaround measured in days.
• Structured testing rhythm with net-new concepts and iterations on winners.
