Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a mid-weight Video Editor & Producer to lead AI-powered performance ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. You’ll blend UGC, creator footage, stock, and AI-generated video to drive conversions while shaping creative strategy with strategists and paid media teams.

You’ll bring 4+ years of video editing, proven AI ad creation, and a portfolio of high-volume campaigns. This remote USA role offers a base plus bonus and growth in a fast-growing DTC brand.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of video editing experience, with 2+ years paid social for DTC/eCommerce.
• Proven AI-powered ads creation with AI-generated ads in portfolio.
• Experience producing hundreds/thousands of paid social ads with measurable results.
• Strong written and spoken English; able to present and take feedback.
• Daily use of AI video tools (Veo, Kling, Runway, etc.).
• Expert in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; After Effects, DaVinci Resolve a plus.
• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, CTAs; ability to write DR scripts.
• Familiar with performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR).
• Ability to deliver high volume of ads weekly in fast-moving team.
• Experience in fast-moving, feedback-heavy creative teams at a high-growth brand or performance agency.
• Bonus: love animals; pet/health brands experience.

Responsibilities

• Edit performance video ads for Meta, TikTok, YouTube.
• Write hooks and scripts for direct-response ads.
• Create AI-generated video content and avatars.
• Test variations and analyze performance data.
• Collaborate with strategy and media teams.
• Export assets in multiple aspect ratios.
