Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience in social or performance marketing.
• Strong portfolio of short-form social and performance-oriented creative.
• Deep experience editing for Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and other short-form platforms.
• Understanding hooks, retention, platform-native pacing, social-first storytelling, captions, sound design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Edit performance-oriented short-form creative for Meta, TikTok, and paid social channels.
• Apply hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling, sound, and direct-response principles.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Strategists, copywriters, and the team to iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Use AI to generate or modify footage, B-roll, images, and assets to speed up production.
• Create multiple variations to support a high-volume creative testing program.
• Maintain a high craft bar across picture, sound, graphics, captions, and overall execution within brand and compliance.
