Job summary

Exos is seeking a Certified Performance Coach for our corporate wellness center in San Jose, CA. You will lead group classes, conduct fitness assessments, and design personalized training programs for a diverse client base, including high-risk populations.

You’ll also provide one-on-one coaching, monitor safety, and support health-promotion initiatives while helping maintain smooth gym operations. A Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and current CPT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current nationally accredited Personal Trainer certification (NASM/ACSM/NSCA/ACE).
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Experience leading group exercise classes.
• Minimum 1+ years of industry experience; internship counts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized plans.
• Offer one-on-one consultations and motivate clients.
• Assist with program implementation and facility operations.
