Job summary

Exos is seeking a Performance Coach to join our corporate wellness center. You will lead diverse group exercise classes, perform fitness assessments, and design personalized programs for a broad client base in a on-site setting.

The role involves one-on-one training, client motivation, and supporting health-promotion initiatives. A Bachelor’s in Exercise Science or Kinesiology plus CPR/First Aid is required, with 6+ months of experience in group instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology.
• Current certification from NASM/ACSM/NSCA/ACE is preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required.
• At least 6 months of industry experience, including relevant internships.
• Proven experience in leading and teaching group exercise classes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct diverse group exercise classes for various fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prescribe personalized exercise plans for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations.
• Offer one-on-one consultations, personalized training, and motivation to help clients succeed.
• Assist with incentive programs, health promotion, and other specialty programs to drive engagement.
• Manage administrative tasks related to fitness facility operations.
