Job summary

Exos is seeking a Performance Coach to join our corporate wellness center team. You will help clients reach health goals through customized fitness programs, engaging group classes, and personalized one-on-one training.

In this role you will monitor participant safety, lead diverse classes, conduct fitness assessments, prescribe plans, and design workouts for a wide range of clients, including high-risk populations, while delivering exceptional service and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Current personal trainer certification from NASM, ACSM, NSCA, or ACE.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
• Experience leading and teaching group exercise classes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset.
• Minimum of 1+ years of industry experience; internship experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor exercise participants to ensure safety and adherence to workout plans.
• Lead and instruct group exercise classes for varied fitness levels.
• Conduct fitness assessments and design personalized exercise plans.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and motivation to help clients succeed.
• Support incentive programs, health promotion, and other specialty initiatives.
• Assist with fitness facility operations and administrative tasks.
• Take on additional duties as needed to ensure day-to-day smooth operations.
