Requirements include ARDMS eligibility, Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary), and BLS certification; new graduates must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and OBMI temporary license with eventual permanent licensure.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirements.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing ultrasound equipment, and considering patient age-related needs.
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment and ensures quality images.
• Collaborates with physicians and team to ensure patient care.
