Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technician for day shifts. You will perform ultrasound exams per physician orders, using advanced equipment and adapting imaging to patient age and condition.

Requirements include ARDMS board eligibility, Oregon Sonographer license or temporary status, and BLS certification. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and may need OBMI temporary licensure.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using various ultrasound equipment.
• Consider individual patient needs, including age-related requirements, during imaging.
• Contribute to a culture of patient-focused, high-quality care at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital.
