Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech on a Per Diem/Day Shift basis. You will perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using ultrasound equipment, addressing patients' specific needs.

This role requires board eligibility for ARDMS, Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary), and BLS certification. New graduates must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and secure an OBMI license as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license upon hire.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Takes into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.

Skills

Clinical experience in ultrasound

OBGYN sonography experience

Education

ARDMS certification eligibility

Oregon Sonographer license (or temporary)

BLS certification (American Heart Association)
