Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for a Per Diem/Day Shift role. You will perform ultrasound exams per physicians' orders, using a variety of equipment and considering patient-specific needs to deliver accurate results.

Qualified candidates will hold ARDMS certification or board eligibility, Oregon Sonographer licensure or temporary status, and BLS certification. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months: ARDMS certification required.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations per physicians' orders.
• Uses diverse ultrasound equipment and adapts to patient needs.
