Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for per-diem/day shifts. You will perform ultrasound examinations per physician orders, using diverse equipment and considering patient age-related needs.

Preferred candidates have ARDMS eligibility, Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary) and BLS certification; new grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and OBMI temporary license with eventual permanent licensure.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
