Job summary

Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR is seeking a Radiology Technologist on a part-time/day shift. You will perform imaging examinations per physician orders, using diverse imaging equipment, while prioritizing patient safety and age-appropriate considerations to deliver high-quality images.

The role requires Oregon radiography licensure or a temporary license at onboarding, ARRT certification within 6 months, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain OBMI temporary license and secure permanent license within 6 months.
• ARRT certification to be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• BLS certification for radiology staff upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations per physician orders using various imaging equipment.
• Maintains ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure for patient and staff.
• Ensures proper patient positioning and technique for high-quality images.
