Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for Per Diem/Day Shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, using diverse ultrasound equipment and addressing patients’ age-related needs.

Required qualifications include ARDMS certification or board eligibility, Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license at hire, and BLS. New graduates must obtain ARDMS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using varied equipment.
• Accounts for individual patient needs and age-related considerations.
