Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking an Ultrasound Technician for a per diem/day shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations per physician orders using various equipment, ensuring patient needs are considered and respected.

The role requires ARDMS eligibility, Oregon sonographer license (temporary or permanent), and BLS certification. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and may pursue OBMI temporary license with permanent licensure within 6 months.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification or board eligibility and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• Oregon Sonographer license (temporary or permanent) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Uses a variety of ultrasound equipment and considers patient needs.
• Collaborates with Providence team to provide patient-centered care.
