Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a Per-Diem Ultrasound Technician to perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, using a range of sophisticated imaging equipment and addressing patient-specific needs.

This role requires ARDMS eligibility, Oregon Sonographer licensure (or temporary), and current BLS from AHA. New grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders using advanced ultrasound equipment.
• Consider individual patient's age-related needs during imaging and documentation.
