The role requires ARDMS board eligibility, and Oregon Sonographer licensure (temporary accepted) with BLS certification; new grads must pursue ARDMS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for ARDMS.
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer or
• Upon hire: Oregon Sonographer Temporary.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment, taking into account individual patient's special or age-related needs.
