Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Tech to perform ultrasound exams per physicians’ orders, using a variety of ultrasound equipment and adapting imaging to age-related needs.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensing requirements must be met.
• Board-eligible for ARDMS certification.
• Oregon Sonographer license or temporary license at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required.
• Certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must be ARDMS-board eligible and obtain certification within 6 months.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Operate various ultrasound equipment and tailor imaging to patient needs.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
