Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for per diem/day shift responsibilities in Hood River, OR. The role requires performing ultrasound exams per physicians' orders while considering patient-specific needs and maintaining high-quality imaging.

The candidate should be board eligible for ARDMS, obtain Oregon licensure per hire, and hold BLS. New grads must achieve ARDMS certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Oregon Sonographer or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: ARDMS certification.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of ultrasound equipment.
• Considers individual patient needs and age-related factors during imaging.
• Supports patient-focused, whole-person care; collaborates with Providence team.
