Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (ADN or BSN) from an accredited school
• Active Vermont RN license in good standing or compact state license
• BLS for Healthcare Providers
• ACLS
• PALS
• Aseptic technique
• Scrub and circulating nurse skills within 6 months of hire
• Basic Dysrhythmia
• De-escalation training preferred
• 6 months nursing experience desirable for specialty areas
• Nursing care knowledge across lifespan
• Effective people skills and communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and care-delivery technology

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients following Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice.
• Use the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and document care, including delegation of work.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws, regulations, and policies governing health care.
