RWJBarnabas Health's Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. This on-site role supports a fast-paced, safety-first environment with teamwork, learning, and patient-centered care.

The RN will participate in assessments, medications, care planning, and EPIC documentation, with a flexible per diem schedule. The position requires NJ RN license, active NRP and BLS, 2+ years L&D experience, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• NRP certification and current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• BSN preferred; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery strongly preferred; 2+ years.
• Electronic medical record experience (EPIC) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer safe medications and provide hands-on care guided by clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to support informed decisions.
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and promote teamwork.
