Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Per Diem Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. The role requires at least 2 years of pediatric RN experience in acute care, active NJ RN license, PALS, and BLS certification. BSN preferred; EPIC EMR experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

2+ years pediatrics RN experience in acute care
Active NJ Registered Nurse license in good standing
PALS certification and BLS certification
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; IV certification advantageous

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes
Provide safe medications, treatments and hands-on care
Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care
Educate patients and families for next steps of care
Document accurately in EMR to promote continuity and safety
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support teamwork
Engage in continuing education and clinical ladder opportunities
