Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required; a Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred. Current IL RN license, CPR, and ACLS are needed.

Qualifications

• BSN is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.
• ACLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• HOA serves as the highest-level clinical and operational leader on duty when senior leadership is not on site.
• Provides hospital-wide oversight of clinical operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response.
• Acts with independent judgment to enforce policies, direct staff, allocate resources, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
