Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly Respiratory Therapy Services is seeking a part-time, PRN Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The role includes operating and monitoring oxygen delivery systems and ventilators, administering prescribed therapies, and documenting patient responses in the EMR.

Strong assessment skills and team communication are essential. Current NBRC credential and state licensure are required, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy is required (BA/BS preferred).
• RRT credential and state license required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors oxygen delivery and respiratory support equipment.
• Delivers prescribed respiratory therapies and documents results accurately.
• Monitors and adjusts mechanical/noninvasive ventilation per policy.
• Assesses patient status and informs care team of changes.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Maintains EMR documentation and equipment safety checks.
