Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide expert oxygen therapy, operate ventilators, and support critical care teams.

You will assess therapies, document results in the EMR, participate in emergencies, and ensure PHI protection while meeting regulatory requirements. A RRT credential, BLS, and accredited program graduation are required; ICU/ED experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as RRT by NBRC; licensed as Respiratory Care Practitioner; BLS required.
• Graduate from an approved Respiratory Therapy program; Associate degree required; BA/BS preferred.
• 2+ years critical care experience for ED; new grads with RRT eligible.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; PHI protection required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver oxygen therapy and operate delivery equipment.
• Perform diagnostic procedures per policy.
• Set up and monitor mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Assess and adjust therapies per clinical judgement.
• Document therapy and results in EMR.
• Communicate patient care information to team.
• Respond to emergencies and perform blood gas sampling.
• Follow safety, regulatory, and proficiency requirements.
